HEAD OF OUTREACH

Description: The Head of Outreach position will focus on creating strategic partnerships with schools in Latin America to keep expanding INTROspective. Additionally, the Head of Outreach will be working with the Head of Finance to look for possible sponsors for the organization.

 

Weekly time commitment: 2 hours a week

 For students who: This position is ideal for organized students who want to show leadership and have an interest in marketing/public relations. Students applying for this position should have well-developed communication skills. These students should also be confident talking and pitching projects to older people and be outgoing.

HEAD OF FINANCE

Description: The Head of Finance position will be tasked with looking for possible sponsors for the organization alongside the Head of Outreach. The Head of Finance will also be responsible for looking and applying for grants. Additionally, the Head of Finance will be responsible for looking for alternate ways to raise money. Lastly, the Head of Finance will be responsible for creating a sustainable financial plan and overseeing the carrying out of such.

Weekly time commitment: 2 hours a week

For students who: This position is ideal for organized students who want to show leadership and have an interest in finance and some basic understanding of business concepts. Students applying for this position should have well-developed communication skills. These students should also be confident talking and pitching projects to older people, be outgoing, and creative in order to be constantly creating business strategies that will make INTROspective successful.

CHAPTER LEADER

Description: This job consists of founding and leading the INTROspective chapter at your school. You will also be in charge of keeping in contact with your corresponding National Chapter Leader.

Time commitment per week: 3-4 hours. 

​

For students who: If you are interested in starting an INTROspective chapter at your school to share your passion for psychology and neuroscience. Include your name, school, country, why you are interested in the position and your experience with Psychology/Neuroscience.  We will contact you as soon as possible to set up an interview.

HEAD OF QUALITY CONTROL

Description: The Head of Quality Control will focus on ensuring that each chapter functions at its best ability. Additionally, the Head of Quality Control will be tasked with revising and peer editing the research papers produced by INTROspective students before they are submitted for publication. Lastly, the Head of Quality Control will be supervising the work of the Quality Control Assistants.

Weekly time commitment: 3 hours a week

For students who: This position is ideal for students interested in research who want to additionally show leadership. Students applying for this position should have well-developed communication, organization, writing, research and peer-editing skills.

QUALITY CONTROL ASSISTANT

Description: The Quality Control Assistant is responsible for helping the Head of Quality Control. Some of the tasks include: revising presentations, peer editing scientific articles and ensuring top quality for these.

 Weekly time commitment: 2 hours a week

For students who: This position is ideal for students interested in research who want to show involvement in such. Students applying for this position should have well-developed communication, organization, writing skills, and some intermediate neuroscience understanding.

CHIEF OPERATION OFFICER

Description: The Chief Operation Officer will be responsible for coordinating communication amongst Chapter Leaders across different countries and board members. Additionally, the COO will be responsible for coordinating the logistics of events across the organization such as guest speakers open to all and competitions amongst different chapters.

Weekly time commitment: 2 hours a week

​

For students who: This position is ideal for organized students who want to show leadership. Students applying for this position should have well-developed communication skills and some basic knowledge of neuroscience.

TEACHER

Description: This job consists of teaching students the material.

Time commitment per week: 1-2 hours.
